Gentry Hale
Gentry is a freelance travel writer, journalist and content creator from Salt Lake City, Utah. Her areas of expertise include adventure travel, environmental science, land management, outdoor recreation, wildlife and conservation.
She studied environmental sustainability and creative writing at the University of Utah before receiving her master’s degree in environmental journalism from the University of Montana.
She has worked as an editor for Bugle Magazine, Byline Magazine and Montana PBS. Her writing can be found in Trails Magazine, STAB Magazine, Business Insider, The Independent Record, Neiman Storyboard, Longview News Journal, Snowboarder Magazine, Wasatch Magazine, The Montana Kaimin and more. She has also produced copy for hundreds of companies worldwide.
When she isn’t writing, Gentry can be found on the move. Whether camping in Montana, surfing in California or traveling to a foreign country, she feels most at home when she’s not at home.
